The Haematology Service at Sengkang General Hospital provides specialist consultation and treatment for various haematological disorders. Our team of haematologists are committed to providing the best care for patients in diagnosing and treating malignant and non-malignant haematological diseases.

Haematology is an area of medicine that deals blood related disorders. Not all haematological conditions are cancerous (malignant). There are also non-cancerous (benign) haematological conditions such as blood clot related disorders, bleeding disorders, anaemia, and many others. 

Our team of haematologists have extensive experience treating patients with all types of blood conditions which includes both benign and malignant conditions.

At SKH, each patient’s care is directed by our haematologists who are ably supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialised physicians and nursing staff, as well as a full range of allied health services, including social workers, pharmacists and dietitians.

Haematology Specialist Clinic

Our clinics are run by SMC accredited Haematologists who provide specialised care and management to patients with general Haematological disorders, coagulation disorders and haematological malignancies.

Anticoagulation Clinic

A team of specially trained pharmacists runs the clinic, which is meant to monitor patients on anticoagulants such as warfarin.

General Haemotology

  • Nutritional anaemia

*Upon establishment of diagnosis, most of the conditions can be treated in SKH. However, certain conditions such as acute leukaemia certain lymphoproliferative disorders and plasma cell dyscrasia might require patients to be referred to Singapore General Hospital (SGH) for further management. SKH Haematology team will ensure seamless transfer of care to Singapore General Hospital.
