FAQs for Medication Delivery Service


What should I do if I want my medication to be delivered to me?

  • This service is only available for registered patients staying in Singapore.
  • The medication delivery service is only applicable for SKH prescription/s and NHCS@SKH prescription/s.
  • The original paper prescription (For NHCS@SKH) has to be submitted in person and will be kept at the Outpatient Pharmacy. When the full amount of medicines has been dispensed, the prescription cannot be refilled anymore.
  • The prescription must be within 1 year from date of issue to be valid.

How long will the delivery take?

  • All medications delivery service requests will take at least 3 working days to process, excluding the day of request.
  • Working days are defined as Mondays to Fridays, excluding Public holidays.
  • For regular home delivery, we provide 3 delivery time slots from Monday to Friday, (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays)
    • 10am to 2pm
    • 2pm to 6 pm
    • 6pm to 10pm
  • Please ensure you have at least 2 weeks supply of medication at home in case of any unforeseen delay of the delivery.


Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to all valid local addresses within mainland Singapore, excluding offshore islands and secured areas.

 
Can I submit an order if I do not have a valid prescription, or if my previously submitted prescription has been completely filled?

Supply of medications requires a valid prescription before we can process your order. If you do not have one or if you need a new prescription, kindly submit your request through the HealthBuddy app, or call our SKH general enquiries hotline at 6930 6000. You may then opt for delivery of the medications.


Can I submit an MDS order using a non-SKH prescription?

We are only able to process SKH prescriptions. Kindly approach the issuing institution for their delivery services. 



I requested for a prescription for my medications, how do I know if it is ready?

You should be updated on the status of your request through your registered contact number within 3 working days. Otherwise, you may call 6930 6000 to check for updates.

 
Can I amend or cancel my order after it has been submitted, or change my delivery date and/or time after it has been confirmed?

Any amendment or cancellation received less than 3 working days prior to the confirmed delivery date will be subjected to a charge of $8.



How do I know if my online order has been successfully submitted?

An order acknowledgement will be sent to the email address you provided.


How do I know when my medications are ready for delivery?

On your selected delivery date and time slot, the delivery man will contact you before arrival via the contact number you provided.


Can someone else receive my medications for me?

If you are unable to receive your medications in person, you can give consent for another person who is 18 years old and above to receive the medications on your behalf.


How do I pay for my medication?

Payment can be made through Mobile pay via Health buddy app. You may also pay at AXS machines or Singpost branches. We do not have a cash on delivery option.


I have a medical benefit card, can I use it to pay for the service?

Approved 3rd party payers are accepted for payment of medications. However, delivery amendment or cancellation charges will be borne by you. Please provide us with the necessary payment documents when you register for the medication delivery service.


Can I opt to use Medisave or Cash on Delivery as a payment mode?

Yes, we do accept Medisave use, subjected to review and approval. Kindly indicate these options when placing your medication orders. We do not offer cash on delivery.


My medical appointment has been postponed and my medications are running out. How do I request for a top-up of my medications?

You can download the SingHealth HealthBuddy App to request for a new prescription from your doctor or call our SKH general enquiries hotline at 6930 6000, and opt for delivery of your medications.


Other important information

  • Medications such as antibiotics, controlled drugs, newly prescribed medicines, medications that need to be taken immediately are not eligible for delivery. Medicines with changes in dosage are also not eligible for delivery.
  • Medications delivered are not exchangeable or refundable.
  • Please ensure that someone is at the specified address to receive the medications at the agreed time/ date. In the event that customer is not at the specified delivery address and not contactable at the time of delivery, the customer will have to bear the total charges for both items and delivery charges. A second delivery charge will apply for request to resend item/s.
  • Additional charges apply for bulky items and multiple delivery requests within a month unless arranged by SKH due to unforeseen circumstances.
