​Dr Winson Tan has published more that 20 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is also the recipient of a National Medical Research Council research grant studying the efficacy and cost effectiveness of a proposed algorithm for management of suspected appendicitis. His research achievements culminated in him being awarded the Singhealth Excellence - Distinguished Young Researcher Award in 2017. He remains actively involved in clinical, educational and translational research projects.
