Profile
Dr Tan Choon Chieh finished his general surgical training in 2010 and went on to complete a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at National Cancer Centre Singapore. This was followed by a HMDP fellowship at Seoul National University Hospital where he obtained further training in endoscopic and robotic thyroidectomy.
Besides managing common general surgical conditions and gastrointestinal endoscopy, Dr Tan has a special interest in thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland surgery. He is also active in medical education and is one of the curriculum planners for the General Surgery Department's training program for junior doctors.
